What we’re about
Tri-State Kayakers is intended for both beginning and experienced recreational kayakers from Cincinnati, Indiana, and Northern Kentucky.
All skill levels are welcome. There are no prerequisites for joining. Just bring your boat and enjoy camaraderie on the water. We do everything from flat water on lakes to moving water on local rivers. There are also overnight excursions involving camping and very often hiking.
Please familiarize yourself with the Tri-State Kayakers bylaws and liability waiver before joining us at an event. These can be accessed via Google Drive where you will also find several other administrative articles to help you along with kayaking.

Our agenda is to safely promote the sport of kayaking, relieve the apprehension that beginners always have, and help familiarize kayakers with the beautiful natural world and fun that kayaking offers. We visit our favorite lakes and local rivers, increase our skills, demonstrate and share our equipment with novices, encourage our children and grandchildren to take up our favorite pastime, and have fun with old friends and new.
TSK consists of a wide variety of members from novices to experienced. Several have volunteered to become Assistant Organizers which opens up new ideas for fun and enjoyment on the water. These folks post events on our calendar and lead the outings.
If you have any questions, contact any of the Assistant Organizers or the Group Organizer.
