Let’s ride to SANDY POINT ST RESERVATION Plum Island

Details

Our ride will start in Seabrook at the Old Eastern Marsh Trail into downtown Newburyport. We’ll travel along the waterfront in Newburyport and join up on water street and the Plum Island Turnpike into Plum Island. Once over the Plum island bridge we’ll taker a righty onto Sunset Dr and follow it onto Refuge Rd out to Sandy Point and the beach. We’ll take an extended break at the beach area for lunch, suntanning and some social time. We’ll then head back on the trail to downtown Newburyport for an ice cream stop then back to Seabrook after the ice cream stop.

This will be a really fun and relaxing bike ride with the our group. It would be wise to pack up a good lunch withh plenty of liquids to stay hydrated. Don’t forget the suntan lotions and your beach towel. Most important don’t forget your cash or credit card for the ice cream stop over in downtown Newburyport.

I called Sandy Point regarding bicycles entering the park, they are permitted. There should be no park entry fee for us, but to be on the safe side I’d bring $5.00 cash just in case.

I’ve put a limit of ten (10) riders for this ride, so sign up early. First come, first serve. Hope you can join us for this really amazing experience.
