Tri-Valley Songwriting / Music Production Meeting #2

This meeting will cover the following:

1. Using Ableton Live as a songwriting tool: While Live was initially designed as Live Performance software, it is a fully featured DAW. It contains two views: session view and arrangement view. Arrangement view is very similar to other linear DAWs (e.g. Pro Tools, Logic, etc.). However, session view provides some very interesting flexibility in creating new material. We will spend one hour with a member led demonstration of using Ableton's session view as a songwriting tool.

2. Member song shares: Member can bring songs to share with the group for critique, general feedback or simply sharing. Members may bring lyrics, or perform acoustically or bring recorded material to play for everyone. IF YOU HAVE A RECORDED SONG YOU WANT TO SHARE, PLEASE POST IT TO YOUR SOUND CLOUD ACCOUNT. We will stream the song from your Sound Cloud account to share with the group.

I am hosting this event at my house. So I am limiting the event to 12 people. If we get more than 12 people who absolutely want to come, I WILL find a bigger venue.
