Art, Tech & Halloween!

What holiday best encompasses the spirit of art & technology? Crazy masks and costume design, weird props and giant spiders (yes, giant spiders!), shifting lights & parties. Only Halloween! So despite the black plague, and equipped with those same masks and with the addition of bloody marys, monster punch, and hot spiced cider we plan to celebrate!

Karen has moved into a different home and for now it will be the setting for any non meetup meetings we may have. We have an air purifier for the common area inside and a large decorated enclosed garden space with lights and fire, as well as a few rooms set up with mask making supplies (remember the glowing masks from a couple of years ago make with EL tape? There's more...) Inside there is music and treats for everyone. Feel free to bring your friends or family. Just give us an idea of how many will be attending. We will have a short meeting to discuss an upcoming agenda around 7:30 and simply enjoy the night. We are limiting the amount of people who may attend, and will require masks indoors.

It's been a long time since we gathered - there is plenty of space - and we plan on a safe and happy holiday. I hope you can come. It's been a long year (or two) and so much has happened. Personally I miss you all and look forward to our old and new friends!

If you'd like you can bring a dish, treat, or drink. There will be some here already but we can always use more.
