Triad Game Devs is a casual meetup for anyone in the Winston-Salem and Triad area who's interested in making video games. We meet once a month in downtown Winston-Salem to hang out, talk about video game development, and connect with others who share the same passion.
There's no set agenda or presentations, just a relaxed space to chat about projects, ideas, and the game industry in general. Whether you're a beginner, a hobbyist, or a professional, you’re welcome to join.

Monthly Triad Game Devs Meetup
Dram And Draught, 486 North Patterson Avenue, ste 120, winston salem, NC, USWe're game developers based in Winston-Salem and the greater Triad area. We meet once a month on the first Tuesday of every month.
Whether you're a seasoned dev or an aspiring creator looking to meet other local game devs, this is the place for you. We use Unreal Engine, Unity, Godot, lesser known engines, and some dabble with their own engines.
This is a laid back meetup with no agenda. Come to make new friends and chat game dev stuff with other game devs. You can expect around 4-8 of us at each meetup. Ages range from early 20's to early 40's currently.
Due to Dram & Draught being a cocktail bar, they require you to be 21+. I've asked management if there's a wristband or stamp thing they can do for anyone under 21, but it's just against the law. So we'll have to abide by that until we find a better location.
The most important thing to do is to make sure you join the Triad Game Devs Discord Server just in case there's sudden changes to the event.
They mostly just serve drinks at our current meetup spot (Dram & Draught), but they allow food from any of the nearby places like the pizza place or Barcelona Burger if you're hungry. No need to buy drinks or food, though, just bring yourself!
Even though meetup says there's a max of 10, ignore it, no need to RSVP.
Parking
Most people park in the parking garage nearby (free after 6pm). or if you can find an open spot somewhere around bailey park.2 attendees
