Human Trafficking Awareness 5k Run or Walk - Asheboro

The Invictus Projects is hosting the third annual 5K Rescue Run to shed light on the reality of human trafficking both globally and within our own backyards. Grab your coworkers, friends, and neighbors and come out for a day designed to gain understanding about one of the fastest growing criminal industries in the world and prompt change in the world around us. This day promises to encourage and inform you.
The cost is $40 before August 15. After August 15 the cost increases to to $45. The registration link is listed directly below. You can either walk or run and you can also donate more for the cause. Go to the Get Involved tab then the Rescue Run to register: https://theinvictusproject.org/rescuerun. We will meet at Bicentennial Park in Asheboro at 8:30am. The race starts at 9:00 AM.

The Invictus Project is a non profit organization. Human trafficking is a complex criminal industry that profits from the abuse and exploitation of vulnerable individuals.
An overall lack of awareness and available resources has created space for this industry to grow exponentially. The impact of this crime has reached nearly every country and community across the globe.
