🤖⃤ㅤHere's the deal. You're an "N." As an Intuitive you make up the 25% of the population who thinks differently than most people. Not to bash those who prefer to talk about sports ball and the weather, but a lot of your interactions with other people just feel superficial. Sound like you? Great! This is the Meetup for you.
📅 The events we host around the Research Triangle area are meant to serve as a social outlet for MBTI intuitives interested in meeting fellow like-minded intuitives.
ℹ️ By "Intuitive" we mean that our group caters to people who test as "Intuitive" on the Myers-Briggs Personality test (MBTI). If the second letter in your 4-letter type is "N," then you are Intuitive. This includes the following types: ENFP, ENTP, INFJ, INTJ, ENFJ, ENTJ, INFP, and INTP.
💡 Intuitives tend to be more figurative (as opposed to literal), more imaginative (as opposed to realistic), more future-focused (as opposed to present), and more abstract (as opposed to concrete). We enjoy talking about concepts, exploring ideas, and having intellectual conversations.
🧠 If you've never taken an MBTI personality test, you can take the free version of the test on the 16Personalities website ahead of one of our events (not mandatory, but encouraged).
💬 As a Myers-Briggs minority, it can be more difficult for Intuitive types to find a steady group of like-minded individuals. Our Meetups attract some of the most interesting people and intriguing conversations of any other Meetup in RDU (or so we've been told over the years). Come out to our next social event to make some new friends! There are no expectations. Just show up and have a great time with people that think like you.

Sensors are welcome to join but those who identify as an "S" may find certain conversation topics less aligned with their interests.

Dating as an Intuitive type can feel... impossible. 😩 Less than 25% of the population gets you — your depth, your patterns, your paradoxes. Swiping feels hollow. Small talk at bars? Painful.
It's time for a new approach! 🚀
We’re thrilled to announce the first official Triangle Intuitives Speed Dating Night in partnership with Shipp, a fresh startup founded by NCSU & UNC grads that’s rethinking what in-person connection looks like in 2025. This unique dating mixer is powered by tech, but grounded in real life. Think OG speed dating meets app-era convenience — without the soul-draining, never-ending swiping.How it works:
- RSVP on Eventbrite and download the Shipp app
- Set up your mini dating profile (answer a few basic questions + upload a pic)
- Show up to Le Dive — Raleigh's brand new, low-lit, hot younger sister bar to the legendary Neptune’s Parlour!
- Grab a drink and start matching!
Once the event begins, the Shipp app will show you a photo of someone who fits your dating criteria. If you both choose to match, the app will tell you where to meet in the bar. Once you've located one another, click to start the countdown timer. After 5 minutes are up you can choose to keep chatting or end the conversation and connect with someone new.
Remember: you’ll be speed dating with other Intuitives, which makes this a much smaller pond with way better fish 🎣 — the kind who might actually understand your 4am brain spirals.
Yes there will be some small talk, but let’s be honest, when everyone in the room also likes talking about niche interests at lightning speed, even small talk hits different.

- The goal? 👉 Efficient connections, better conversations, and maybe — just maybe — meeting your golden pair (MBTI types aren’t officially recognized in the app, but when the room is filled with Intuitives, your odds of finding one went way up!)
