Instead of visiting a restaurant, we’ll be gathering in the home of a local Ecuadorian woman who prepares authentic Ecuadorian dishes and welcomes guests to dine right there with her. It’s a chance to experience Ecuadorian food the way many people do best—around a family table.

If you’ve never tried Ecuadorian cuisine, you’re in for a treat. Her menu changes daily, but favorites often include dishes like encebollado, bolones de verde, guatita, empanadas, and other traditional specialties. Every visit is a little different, making this a true culinary adventure.

Cost: $20/person — includes drink and family style meal so you can try everything! (goes directly to the family)

This isn’t just dinner—it’s an opportunity to learn about another culture, support a local entrepreneur, and connect with new friends over a meal you probably won’t find anywhere else in Raleigh.

Many of you may remember this space as The Williams House, where we’ve hosted several game nights together over the past few months. It’s now under new ownership, and we’d love to show our support as they begin this exciting new chapter.

We’ll spend the evening enjoying Music Bingo, meeting new people, playing board games, browsing their brand-new bookstore, clinking drinks, and celebrating opening night of their bookstore. They’ll also be giving away door prizes and special grand opening prizes throughout the evening, making it an especially fun night to stop by.

Local author Casie Swindon will also be on site signing books, so it’s a great chance to meet a local writer and support another member of our community.

Whether you’re a reader, a bingo/board game lover, enjoy drinks or just looking for a relaxed evening with friendly people, we’d love to have you join us. Come for the bingo, stay for the conversation, and help us welcome a wonderful new local gathering place to the Triangle.

Here’s something a little different.

Join us for a casual ice cream social at the Howling Cow Dairy Education Center, where the ice cream is made right on an active dairy farm. It’s not every day you get to enjoy a scoop just a short walk from the cows that helped make it!

Bring a blanket if you’d like and relax out in the pasture while watching the cows graze, grab a seat on the wraparound porch, or cool off inside with your favorite flavor.

This is just a chance to slow down, enjoy a beautiful summer evening, and meet some friendly people.

Whether or not it’s your very first event, we’d love to have you join us for one of North Carolina’s sweetest hidden gems.

After a long day of work, sometimes you want conversation. Sometimes you just want quiet.

For this hike, you’ll get to choose.

We’ll meet at Durant Nature Preserve and split into two groups:

🤫 Silent Hiking Group
Enjoy the trail in silence, take in the sounds of nature, and give yourself space to unwind and recharge.

🗣️ Social Hiking Group
Walk with others who are looking to meet new people, have great conversations, and enjoy an evening outdoors.

Both groups will follow the same general route and reconnect at the end of the hike.

This will be a relaxed, beginner-friendly walk with plenty of opportunities to enjoy the preserve’s shaded trails and peaceful scenery. No hiking experience required (however, not ADA accessible)

Whether you’re feeling social, reflective, or somewhere in between, you’re welcome to join us.
