Hidden Raleigh: A Home Cooked Ecuadorian Feast 🇪🇨
Details
$20 goes 100% to the chef/family and includes your food and drink 🙂This may be one of our most unique foodie meetups yet.
Instead of visiting a restaurant, we’ll be gathering in the home of a local Ecuadorian woman who prepares authentic Ecuadorian dishes and welcomes guests to dine right there with her. It’s a chance to experience Ecuadorian food the way many people do best—around a family table.
If you’ve never tried Ecuadorian cuisine, you’re in for a treat. Her menu changes daily, but favorites often include dishes like encebollado, bolones de verde, guatita, empanadas, and other traditional specialties. Every visit is a little different, making this a true culinary adventure.
Cost: $20/person — includes drink and family style meal so you can try everything! (goes directly to the family)
This isn’t just dinner—it’s an opportunity to learn about another culture, support a local entrepreneur, and connect with new friends over a meal you probably won’t find anywhere else in Raleigh.
Come hungry, come curious, and be ready to try something new.
