Adult Show-and-Tell Social 🧸

Do you remember those kindergarten show-and-tells where you brought in your favorite toy or another special item to share with the class? Ever wished there was an adult version? Well… now there is!

This one is going to be lead by first-time host, Krista… so please give her a warm welcome! 😊

To make sure everyone has plenty of time to share, we’re capping this event at 20 people. Since space is limited, please remove your RSVP as early as possible if your plans change so someone else can join.

You can bring almost anything! Maybe it’s something you recently bought, a craft you made, a souvenir from a memorable trip, a birthday or holiday gift, a family heirloom, a quirky collection, or even just a funny or meaningful story from your life. The possibilities are almost endless. We just have a few ground rules:

• No firearms or weapons
• No sexual objects
• No items or stories promoting discriminatory rhetoric (including racism, sexism, ableism, homophobia, transphobia, or other forms of hate)
• No snake oil products, MLMs, or pyramid scheme promotions

That’s it! Time to embrace your inner kid and decide what you’ll bring. What story or item will you share?

If you’ve never been to NAMU, it’s a laid-back Korean restaurant in Durham, just off Exit 270 on I-40. The space has a beer hall, pool table, darts, and plenty of casual seating.

Food ordering is done through your phone — just scan the QR code at your table, place your order, and a staff member will bring it to you. You’re absolutely welcome to come just for the event, but if you’re hungry, I highly recommend trying the food!

Parking can fill up during busy times, but if the lot is full, street parking is usually available nearby.
