Triangle Christian Young Adults (21-35) | Hiking/Volleyball

Let’s kick off our first event with a morning hike at Umstead State Park!

We’ll meet at the Loblolly Trailhead at 9:00 AM, do quick introductions, and then head out on an easy-to-moderate trail together. This will be a relaxed pace with plenty of time for conversation — a great way to meet new people while enjoying the outdoors.

Who this is for:
Christian young adults in the Triangle (ages 21–35) who want to build friendships and enjoy life together outside of Sunday mornings. This is a non-denominational groyp. While our group is rooted in a Christian background, everyone is welcome who’s open to a respectful, faith-friendly environment.

What to bring:

• Comfortable walking shoes
• Weather-appropriate clothing
• Water bottle

• Distance: About 2 miles
• Difficulty: Moderate
• Time: ~1.5–2 hours including short breaks

Logistics:

• Parking: Available at the entrance (free)
• Look for a small group near the bathhouse

We’ll meet at the picnic shelters at 9:00 AM for quick introductions before starting our loop around the lake. The trail is mostly flat and easy, making it perfect for conversation and meeting new people.

Christian young adults in the Triangle (ages 21–35) who want to connect, make friends, and enjoy life together outside of Sunday mornings. While our group is rooted in a Christian cultural background, everyone is welcome who’s open to a respectful, faith-friendly environment.

• Look for the shelters on the way into the park trail loop

We’ll meet at the Fred G. Bond Metro Park Community Center (150 Metro Park Dr, Cary, NC) at 9:00 AM for quick introductions before starting our walk around the lake. The trail is wide, mostly flat, and perfect for conversation while taking in the views.

Enjoy a peaceful Saturday morning walk with great company at Lake Raleigh!

We’ll meet outside the Dorothy and Roy Park Alumni Center at 9:00 AM for quick introductions before starting our loop along the lakefront trails. The path is steep in places and can be muddy, with plenty of opportunities to chat and enjoy the scenery on NC State’s Centennial Campus.
