Dragons will take over Symphony Lake at Koka Booth Amphitheatre this fall as part of spectacular Asia Fest/Greater Triangle Dragon Boat Festival! The event will offer over 100 exhibits and activities such as cultural displays, games, unique performances, and of course, the signature dragon boat race, where teams row long boats across the lake in a fierce, but friendly, competition. There will also be a wide variety of delicious foods and delicacies from across the world, including street foods prepared by local chefs.

Tickets are $13.97 (incl. fees) in advance, $10 +fees day-of, children under 12 and seniors over 65 are free! Purchase tickets here.

Description from the Koka Booth website:
Asia Fest celebrates Asian culture, diversity, ethnicity, roots and history. Move to the beat of the drums! Participate in a team-building race or cheer on your favorite team during a full day of outdoor fun! A practice with coaching and equipment provided are included for each team registration.

We will meet just inside the entrance at the start time, allowing about 15 minutes for everyone to get through the gates and gather. I'll post a photo of the location when I arrive and set a rally point to check in with the group throughout the event.

I look forward to seeing you there!
