We are going to reach into our meetup groups experience and learn how to preserve and can foods!
This will be beginners introduction workshop that will include ways to preserve fresh fruit and vegetables as homemade jellies, jams, chutneys, pickles, and more. We will go over the two preserving methods in water bath canning and pressure canning, ultimately creating shelf stable food to stock your pantry with these two methods.
No equipment needed, maybe just a notepad if your new to this so you can take key notes/takeaways.
I will have a water bath canning and pressure canning setup for our workshop so you can see what everything looks like. We will work through the entire process so you can get some hands on experience with canning!
