Meet and Greet with RDU AI Meetup Group

David had to step down as the event organizer and I had suggested we merge the this group with the RDU Artificial Meetup Group. I will keep making sure that we schedule the meetups at the Transfer Hall but tomorrow night we already had one scheduled at Boxyard in RTP. We just had an in person meetup with David Ellison, AI Scientist at Lenovo, who went deep on Computer Vision training, and showed a cool demo of how they use M/L to measure conditions in NASCAR and F1 racing. Next presentation I am working on is on Vector Databases and a reboot of our Crash Course on AI.

During our Meet and Greet, we'll discuss things like how often we should meet and where. We can also talk about what we are learning and make some network connections. We'll also discuss the upcoming guests . I chose Boxyard since it allows us to get our own food and/or drinks and then grab some tables to gather together. I'll be there with Woodford the dog so we'll be easy to spot. See you soon!
