About us
Are you Jewish and secular? We celebrate our Jewish values, traditions, holidays, and food. We hold a monthly discussion/bagel brunch to discuss topics suggested by the members. Recent topics have been Arguing Jewishly; a Refugee shabbat; and Separation of church and state. We hold non-theistic High Holiday observances, and we hold celebrations for major Jewish holidays.
Kol Haskalah is dedicated to bringing meaning into people’s lives through the ideas and practices of the global movement of Humanistic Judaism. We share our knowledge of Jewish history, culture, and values. Kol Haskalah welcomes all people, regardless of background, family faith/culture, gender, or sexual orientation, into our humanistic, secular community. We strive to provide a supportive and welcoming environment for all. We undertake and encourage social action guided by our deep commitment to Tikkun Olam (repairing the world).

- Please let us know on the High Holidays RSVP form if you are willing and able to help with setting up the room for the potluck after the Niskor service.
- Those who RSVP for the break-the-fast potluck will receive a form in early September to sign up for a dish to bring.
If you are not a member, a donation of $72 is suggested, but not required, and any amount is appreciated. All are welcome, with or without a donation.
