We're expanding beyond our monthly meetings to include specific interests. Like board games? This event is for gauging interest in a future event for board games.
Once we have 20+ people interested we'll get a host to start planning an event. RSVP to let us know that you're interested in playing at a future event.
What type of games? Expect to play games from the BoardGameGeek top 1,000 weighted 2-3.75 of 5 https://www.boardgamegeek.com/browse/boardgame
Translation - this isn't Monopoly or Yahtzee, it's nerdy games that take 15-45 minutes to explain the rules and setup, and 1-2.5 hours to play through. Think deck building, worker placement, engine building. Games like Ticket to Ride or Splendor are generally weighted around 2 of 5 and help with learning the mechanics for more advanced games.
