Edgehill Farms HOA English ivy removal

Details

Hello everybody, excited to organize this first meeting of our group to do some invasive plant removal on Saturday at 2pm in Cary! Near my house in Cary, there is a patch of wooded property belonging to the common space of the Edgehill Farms HOA, and the HOA has given me permission to clear the ivy out of this patch of woods. I've gotten rid of quite a bit of it at this point, but there are still two sizeable patches that need to be taken care of, and a concerted group effort could eliminate the remaining ivy and serve as a means of educating passerby of the importance of this work and might open up additional opportunities to remove ivy elsewhere in the HOA.

Due to parking limitations at my place, we'll meet at the Cary Train Station and carpool a few minutes to my place from there. If only one or two people decide to come, I'll message you with my address so you can park directly at the site.

Things to wear: shoes that you are willing to get dirty, long sleeves and gloves for skin protection (poison ivy is at the edges of the wood patch, and though we will mostly work away from that area, covering up removes most of the risk of poison ivy exposure)
