Kubernetes changed the unit of delivery for software developers from compiled binaries and scripts to container images. Running kubernetes-native CI/CD pipelines and assembling container images is not a simple task, requiring deep knowledge of new tools and technologies. Much has changed since the initial years of Kubernetes, including the proliferation of container-based image building tools and kubernetes-native CI/CD pipelines. This session will provide a deep-dive into the Tekton ecosystem of projects and Project Shipwright. With live demos, I'll be showing how developers, DevOps engineers and enterprises could leverage this ecosystem of projects in the cloud-native world.
