As software engineers, we are viewed as having high technical skills. Still, toil can come into play and complexity never goes away. Just because we are software engineers does not mean we have to “just figure it out” when trying to get our ideas into production. Developer Experience is crucial to maintaining innovation and also allowing engineerings to be more productive / focusing on feature development.

Ketch, an open-source abstraction and policy layer, allows developers to focus on features, not infrastructure complexity with Kubernetes. Learn in this session about how Ketch [www.theketch.io] helps get your applications into production and enforce common-sense guardrails. Even if you are green to Kubernetes, Ketch helps abstract away complexities allowing someone with an image [or source] straight to Kubernetes. The Ketch maintainers are always looking for contributions and other ideas, PRs are open!
