Let's Draw\sketch at Ackland Arts Museum + Lunch

Join us on Saturday, 9th August for a fun and relaxing day of sketching and drawing at the Ackland Art Museum in Chapel Hill. If you are picking pencil for the first time, that's accepted and actually respected :).

The Ackland Art Museum offers a Drawing in the Galleries program, Amanda Hughes (she is awesome!!) leads participants to sketch a particular object in the museum’s collection.

All you need is your sketchbook and some dry media (like crayons or pencils) – just make sure to stick to gallery-safe materials!

Sometimes we head to lunch after the gallery.

Date: Saturday, 9th August

Time: Event starts at 10 AM. Let’s gather around 9:55 AM to get settled.
Location: Ackland Art Museum, 101 S. Columbia St, Chapel Hill, NC 27514
Parking: For most times you can find free parking behind the museum.
