Drawing in the Galleries at Ackland Arts Museum

Join us on Saturday, 14th March for sketching and drawing at the Ackland Art Museum in Chapel Hill. If you are picking pencil for the first time, that's accepted and respected :).

The Ackland Art Museum offers a Drawing in the Galleries program, Amanda Hughes (she is awesome!!) leads participants to sketch a particular object in the museum’s collection.

All you need is your sketchbook and some dry media (like crayons or pencils) – just make sure to stick to gallery-safe materials!

Sometimes we head to lunch after the gallery.

Date: Saturday, 14th March

Time: Event starts at 10 AM. Let’s gather around 9:55 AM to get settled.

Location: Ackland Art Museum, 101 S. Columbia St, Chapel Hill, NC 27514
Parking: For most times you can find free parking behind the museum.
