• Musical
• Bodily Intelligence (coordination)
• Interpersonal (interacting with others / social skills)

• Analytical (book smarts)
• Practical (street smarts)
• Creative Intelligence

DISCUSSION:
• How do you define intelligence?
• What are the areas of intelligence?
• Is being good in math determine one’s intelligence?
• What is the difference between MEMORY and INTELLIGENCE?
• How is the IQ test measured?
• Is learning quickly a measure of intelligence?
--What about the slow but thorough learner?
• Is having “book smarts” a measure of intelligence?
--Can you think of examples of very intelligent people who did poorly in school?
• Must one be proficient in all of Gardner's areas of intelligence to be
considered intelligent?
