Discussion: running PostgreSQL in the public cloud

Bring along your stories of good and bad in running Postgres in the cloud. Or if you haven't done this, come along and find out how it's done, and what it buys you. I'll be using my Amazon and Heroku accounts to demonstrate various ways of doing this.

At a later date we'll look at some other offerings in this space, incluiding a talkj= from Sean Doherty of EDB about their Amazon offering - unfortunately Sean has a prior engagement and can't be at this meetup.
