Abstract: This presentation will provide a fun, light-hearted introduction to Redux state-management with React. It will assume some basic React knowledge, but will focus on the basics of Redux, including why to use Redux, and how it compares to other available architectures (Flux).

Speaker: Janine Love is a software engineer at a startup in downtown Raleigh called 'BitSight Technologies.' She specializes in Front-end development, with a love for all-things JavaScript (especially ReactJS). In a former life, she taught high school mathematics and discrete mathematics. She lives downtown with her husband and new golden retriever puppy -- Mr. Bingley.
