Rust Community Team member Ben Striegel / TBD

We are the Triangle Rustaceans, a group of Triangle-area Rust aficionados of all levels of skill and experience. The activity for this month's meeting has not yet been determined.

Meetings will be on the 4th Monday of every month, at 7pm.

Guest Speaker: Ben Striegel

This month, we're hosting special guest speaker Ben Striegel. Ben is in town for the All Things Open conference, and has asked if he can come give a talk for Triangle Rustaceans while he's here.

Known variously around the internet as bstrie and kibwen, Ben Striegel is one of the earliest members of the Rust programming language community, having been an active member of the project since 2011. Today, Ben is a member of Rust’s official community outreach team and focuses on teaching and mentoring newcomers and interfacing with other open source communities.

We're excited to have him in Durham.

Location & Parking

This month we are being hosted by Caktus Group, located at 108 Morris St. next to Bullseye Bikes in downtown Durham. If you have trouble finding free on-street parking, Caktus recommends using the Durham Centre parking garage, with entrances on Morris St. and W. Morgan St. The evening price in the parking garage appears to be a minimal $1.50.
