Web Assembly and Rust

This month, we have a busy meetup. Rob Rowe will be speaking on high performance computing in the browser using Rust and Web Assembly. In addition, Ben Striegel, member of the Rust Community Team, and early contributor to the Rust compiler, will be in town for All Things Open. He'll be joining us for our meetup, and doing a Q&A session. Finally Jeff Bradberry will be coming back from Rust Belt Rust, and will give us a recap of the conference highlights.

We are the Triangle Rustaceans, a group of Triangle-area Rust aficionados from all walks of life, and of all levels of skill and experience. Meetings are on the 4th Monday of every month, at 7pm.

Location & Parking

This month we are being hosted by Caktus Group, located at 108 Morris St. next to Bullseye Bikes in downtown Durham. If you have trouble finding free on-street parking, Caktus recommends using the Durham Centre parking garage, with entrances on Morris St. and W. Morgan St. The evening price in the parking garage appears to be a minimal $1.50.
