Beginner Longsword - New Student Class

This class is an introduction to 15th century swordsmanship -- longsword and messer. The class is a year-long course, though we'll be doing new-student enrollment through the end of June 2026. To enroll, please RSVP on meetup and join us for one of our New Student Classes. Seats are limited.

No equipment is necessary to start beginner class, though please come dressed in exercise clothes and don't forget to bring water. After the first month students will need to buy their own protective gear, though we'll discuss those requirements in class.

TRAINING FEES: Our club's training fees are $40 / month. New students to the club will be free the first month to give you a chance to try us out and see if we're a good fit for what you're looking for. You start paying dues in July.

AGE: Classes are limited to participants age 16 years and older. Participants under the age of 18 need a parent's signature on the waiver.
