Introduction to Partisan & Spear
Details
This is an introductory class on spear & partisan, mostly based on 16th century N. Italian sources. This class is reserved for those at TSG who have already completed at least a 6 month beginner program in any of the main tracks. The material will cover introduction to guards, footwork, attacks, and defenses, building up towards sparring with a training weapon by the end of the cycle. It will also include staff spinning and other conditioning exercises. The class should last roughly 6 months with more advanced material continuing afterwards.
If you are not a part of TSG then please consider trying one of our open beginner classes first.
