Anyone who has a desire to gather around a table and read a play from the beginning to end is welcome to join.
No experience required other than a strong command of reading and speaking English. You must also be able to access a PDF file and read it from your phone or other device such as an iPad or laptop. There will be no printed copies.
Scripts will be emailed to you.
We will meet at various public locations throughout the triangle.
Character roles will be assigned at the meeting depending on who shows up. It is likely that you will play more than one part.
We start with food and drinks and chat time, then read TV pilots, screenplays and stage plays anywhere from 15 pages long to 120 pages long.
Plays are graciously being provided at no cost by The Bull City Film Festival & Script Writing Group. These are the scripts rated in their top 10 for the season.
For anyone who is interested we can keep hanging out to critique the play and to discuss further.
