About Dan Scala
Dan launched a successful consulting company in 1995, following his layoff from a 25-year successful career as an Engineering Manager in Corporate America. Over the past 18 years, Dan has learned “what it takes” to be a successful entrepreneur, and more importantly, several pitfalls to avoid. In that same 18 year period he had to reinvent his company, his business—and himself—to keep his revenues, income streams and profits on target.
Dan is the co-founder of the “Center for Excellence,” a learning and development center serving small business owners and entrepreneurs in the Raleigh area. He is a graduate of the Council for Entrepreneurial Development’s Fast Track 1 and 2 programs. He actively serves on the speaker’s bureau with the Raleigh Chapter of SCORE, and serves as an Area Governor for Toastmasters. Dan currently spends his time dedicated to helping others interested in starting up and growing their businesses.
