A Fresh Look on ZFS for MySQL on Linux

Details

OpenZFS has been gaining adoption and development in the last couple of years. ZFS can be considered the InnoDB of filesystems. With the gaining adoption and all the shiny features of ZFS, has it become any better for MySQL? We investigated and ran a number of tests then documented the results - we’ll discuss this on the next meetup!

Doors open at 6PM, discussions starts at 6:30PM - we'll take care of drinks and pizza.

This meetup's presentor:

Jervin is MySQL Consultant at Percona, partnering with customers on building reliable and highly performant MySQL infrastructures while also doing other fun stuff like watching cat videos on the internet since 2010.
