Formula 1 MSC Cruises Austrian Grand Prix 2025

Details
Canada was all drama all the time and the off-track shenanigans haven't died down in the days since. Mercedes seems to have found a way to get pace out of their cars on days where the temperatures are above freezing, The FIA isn't going to penalize Max until a few points drop off his license, and Stake F1 might actually have a decent mid-field car.
The big talking point is about how Lando bet it all that Oscar was going to move across the track onto the racing line. If the Aussie had done that, we'd be talking about how brilliant Norris is and his authoritive stamp on the world title bid. However, Piastri didn't didn't move onto the traditional racing line and the McLaren boys are lucky that the resulting collision only took out one car.
It's always interesting to see how the media reacts to the FIA action/non-action regarding racing incidents. I know of at least three drivers who have been penalized and hit with license points for coming alongside the car in front of them during a safety car. I guess that "World Champion Armor" protects Dutchmen as well as Brits.
Notable performances-
-Antonelli was where he needed to be all weekend. He brought the car home in third and defended well against a quicker package.
-Russell capitalized on the mistakes of everyone ahead of him in the championship and never put a wheel wrong all weekend.
-Ocon gambled on strategy and it paid off with points for a car which really has no business anywhere near the middle of the field.
Notable misses-
-Lawson continues to disappoint. 10 places behind your teammate is a poor starting position on any day. (side eye at Yuki)
-Albon sent it around the outside in the wrong place and was lucky to not come away from the incident with a (mostly) intact car. Also, I might not know safety but I know "unsafe re-joining" when I see it.
The teams are heading to Austria. We'll be at the GOAT in Durham. Hope to see you there. (weather permitting, we'll be on the patio.)
