FORMULA 1 CRYPTO.COM MIAMI GRAND PRIX 2026

It's been a pretty crazy month off in the F1 world. The FIA and FOM have all but admitted that they missed the mark on the rules package and revamped ... something.

To be honest, I didn't understand the technical stuff before the changes, and I don't really understand what changes were made. I don't really care that much either. Hopefully, we'll see the drivers sending it during qualifying and we'll still get some good passing and re-passing during the race. But I wouldn't get your hopes up too high.

As in the past, this new rules era has started with a dominant team, and eventually the cars will get closer and closer until the end of the era, at which point the racing will be really close throughout the field and the rules will change again. Thus has it always been and thus it will always be.

That doesn't mean we can't get together and enjoy each other's company while we find out if this tweak did anything to spice up qualifying!
