FORMULA 1 GRAN PREMIO DE LA CIUDAD DE MÉXICO 2026

Kimi Antonelli led from the start, never looked back, and dominated the USGP. He hasn't clinched the championship yet, but he's not far from it. All he has to do is finish 9th this weekend. If, by some circumstances, he doesn't finish 9th, George or Lewis has to win the race to keep the championship "alive." That's in quotes because he needs 2 points to put it out of reach for them.

There was some interesting on-track action this week. at one point, 2 - 4 were running nose to tail with 10 laps to go. The split between one and two stop strategies gave us some short-lived intrigue. It might have been short-lived but it was there! Of course, none of them had a chance at catching Antonelli.

The teams have a quick turnaround. This week they're in Mexico City. We're back at Carolina Ale house. Hope to see you there.
