TFF: Loose on the Neuse

TFF is excited to team up with Sound Rivers, Neuse River Outfitters, Neuse River Brewing and Orvis Raleigh for an epic river clean-up and afterparty on Aug. 3.

This is a paddle and walking cleanup. Some kayaks are available for participants, but supplies are limited so RSVP now! Members are encouraged to bring their own watercraft.

Please wear proper sun protection (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen), as well as clothes that can get wet and dirty and closed-toed shoes. Bring gloves that can get dirty and pack a dry change of clothes for the afterparty.

Check in is at 9:30 a.m. at the parking area and trailhead for the Neuse River Trail 22 where participants will be shuttled to the Milburnie launch site. If you’re on the water, rafts with water and beverages will be staged along the paddle. Our endpoint will be back at Anderson Point Park, where your car will be waiting for you!

After the clean-up, stick around and celebrate at the afterparty at Anderson Point! Enjoy music, beer, lawn games and a raffle with Loose on the Neuse prizes and swag!
