TFF: August 2025 Meeting - Neuse Riverkeeper Samantha Krop

This month, Sound Rivers' Neuse Riverkeeper Samantha Krop will join us for a discussion all about the Neuse and Tar Pamlico rivers. A Riverkeeper works to monitor and protect water quality through sampling, pollution investigations, public education and political advocacy. Covering over a quarter of the state of North Carolina, the Neuse and Tar Pamlico watersheds feed the Pamlico Sound, the country's second important fishery. Conversation with the Riverkeeper will focus on water quality issues that affect aquatic life and human communities, and how we can work together to address these issues in our waterways today.
