Friends,

Monday, 1-5-26, is the start of the 30th year of Beer Tying! Hope you can join some time this year. We usually tie on the first and third Mondays of the month (with occasional exceptions)
Beer Tying is a social tying get together. Everyone ties whatever they want and the creations range from saltwater flies to size 22 midges. It is not tying lessons, but if you are having a hard time with a specific tying step, odds are you can watch a more experienced tier tackle the process. The courteous thing to do is ask if you can watch another tyer. If you are on the fence about attending, please understand that this is a good group of people that create a welcoming, inclusive environment.
I hope to see you at The House or on Zoom. The House has WiFi and I plan to bring my laptop so people near and far can still connect. In person tying will start at 7:00 and Zoom tying will start between 7:00 and 7:30. If you haven’t been to The House, enter on the right side of the building and take your first right in to the red room. We will be in the back of the room. Bring your tying stuff, a tying light, an extension cord, and a good story. Let me know if you have any questions.

Tight Lines,
Malcolm
