Join our friends Sound Rivers, Mother Earth Brewing, Down East Kayak Adventures, The River Bar, Great Outdoor Provision Company- Greenville and other partners for a FUN cleanup on the Neuse River! On Saturday, Sept. 12, they’ll be launching from the Wildlife Resources boat ramp in Goldsboro, paddling down the Neuse River and picking up trash along the way. There will be beverage stations along the paddle route and shuttles to take you from the take-out point at Prices Landing back to the Goldsboro boat ramp, which will be followed by a cleanup celebration at The River Bar!

REGISTER HERE (RSVP REQUIRED)

This 6.8-mile paddle will take about 3 hours to complete, so it’s best suited for teens and adults.

Check in will start at 9:30 a.m.; launch is at 10 a.m.

Make sure to bring sunscreen and appropriate river wear.

Put-in location: Wildlife Resources Commission boating access ramp, Goldsboro

Take-Out: Prices Landing Wildlife Resources Commission boating access ramp

There will be some kayaks available for use, so if you’re not bringing your own (non-motorized) vessel, register to reserve your kayak! Kayak registration will end Wednesday, Sept. 9, at 5 p.m.

Sound Rivers is also looking for volunteers to help with check in, launch and shuttling. If you’re interested, SIGN UP TO VOLUNTEER HERE.
