Fly Tying @ Steel String Carrboro

Fly tying in Chapel Hill and Carrboro!

Come out to Steel String in Carrboro for a social fly tying event. This is the second event at this space, still trying to work out a regular time/schedule with the host brewery but plan on it being monthly, closer towards the end of each month.

This is not an instructional event, and materials/tools are not provided. However, experienced tiers will be available for tips or demonstrating techniques. Fly tiers of all skill-levels are welcome!

Steel String has great beer with some snacks, and food can be ordered from Glass HalfFull next door to be brought to their table at the brewery. There is also usually a food truck nearby, and attendees are welcome to bring their own food or snacks as well.

Parking is available out front or in the adjacent gravel lot, as well as in municipal lots/decks nearby.
