The Psychology of Ghost Experiences
Ghosts are among the most universal of paranormal beliefs, with countless cultures holding some belief in the afterlife. Some of this is due to pop culture, but much of it comes down to personal experiences with (alleged) ghosts or spirits. In this talk, Benjamin Radford, author of Investigating Ghosts: The Scientific Search for Spirits, will discuss the psychology of ghost experiences, and how they are informed by time and place.
Benjamin Radford, MPH, M.Ed, is the deputy editor of Skeptical Inquirer science magazine and a Research Fellow with the non-profit educational organization the Committee for Skeptical Inquiry.
