Skepticamp 2026/7 Planning Meeting

Hello! This is a meeting time to carve out our Skepticamp for 2026/7. Skepticamp is currently scheduled for Saturday, January 23rd, with an event on Sunday, January 24th as well.

We are always looking for more people to help, so if you are interested in assisting with organizing the Skepticamp, anywhere from simply taking tickets at the front door all the way to being a speaker or doing major organization tasks, we welcome the help! Even if someone has a role, be aware we may need multiple people for roles so please ask if you are interested in something.

Our only requirement is that you are a regular attender of our meetup group. Please only attend if you intend on volunteering, it's fine if you would like to hang out to see what you may want to volunteer for but we are trying to stay on task during this meeting since we are getting close to the Skepticamp.

Current Priorities for this week: Hoping to have the Venue locked down, and then we will be discussing announcing the Skepticamp on preparing on advertising the Skepticamp and its official announcement coming on October 15th.

We have a current to-do list as well as full list of volunteers, I will post that shortly in this field. If you would like access to the planning document prior to this meeting, please let me know! This will be a repeating monthly meeting (and sometimes more often if we feel the need) up until the Skepticamp.
