This group is for anyone in the Triangle area learning about or working on immersive media and emerging technology, whether you are a professional or a student. No experience is required if you're just interested in learning or looking for a career change, so don't be intimidated :) Let's get together to share what we're working on, help one another, learn and have fun!

Immersive Game Research Talk + PC & VR Demos

You'll get chances to try games from many different local game developers and support the Triangle Interactive Arts Collective, a coworking space for indie game devs!
10:30 - 11am: Talk - Full Immersion: Reflections on an International Game Research Trip
Attend a talk by Karen Stritzinger, game designer/developer and Founder at Old Hara Studios. Learn what it was like to attend Hansupul Haenyeo School on Jeju Island over the summer to conduct research for the Waves of Jeju: Diving School PC/VR game.
10am-8pm: PC & VR Game Demos - Featuring "Waves of Jeju: Diving School" (제주의 파도: 해녀학교)
Try out the Waves of Jeju: Diving School PC or VR demo. Sign up to become a playtester, and get stickers while they last! Become a Haenyeo student in VR, or dive in with our new PC demo if you prefer!
Other VR demos include Balloon Bats and Transfusion!
