About us
Welcome to Tribe of One Love!
You know that feeling when you leave a conversation thinking, "That was great. Why don’t people connect like this more often?”
Yeah. That’s exactly the feeling we’re creating — every single week.
Tribe of One Love is a community gathering weekly in Minneapolis for real, authentic conversations, meaningful connection, and new friendships. We are dedicated to pursuing, exploring, practicing, and expanding unconditional love for all — not as a vague idea, but as something we actively learn to embody together.
It’s a chance to laugh, reflect, be fully yourself, and remember we’re not meant to do life alone.
Come experience…
Open hearts.
Amazing conversations.
Authentic connections.
Tiny breakthroughs.
Strangers becoming real friends.
“I really needed this” moments.
That hard-to-explain feeling that keeps people coming back.
Laughing with people you just met.
The refreshing feeling of being fully yourself.
What we do:
- Gratitude & connection circles
- Heart-centered conversations
- Talking about things that actually matter
- Creating moments that feel surprisingly profound
People regularly leave saying:
“I felt so connected.”
“This is exactly what I’ve been missing.”
“This feels different.”
Community Vision A world where unconditional, embodied love becomes the cultural norm — where joy, connection, and mutual support flourish in relationships, families, and communities.
Community Mission To expand our individual and collective capacity to practice and experience real love through meaningful connection, reflection, and love in action.
Guiding Principle Let love, wonder, and joy be our guide.

Tribe of One Love Community Guidelines
We are perfectly imperfect humans, practicing love together. These guidelines are not standards of perfection, but invitations to practice with intention and care.
- We are rooted in love, curiosity, and growth.
We’re here to reflect, share, and expand our awareness together—rather than debate, persuade, or convert. We prioritize presence and experiential learning. - We are here to practice unity through shared humanity.
We aim for connection, not correction. We choose language and ways of relating that support understanding, and we avoid us-vs-them framing or language that dehumanizes, morally sorts, or pressures others into positions. - We are a nonpartisan, non-denominational space.
People from all walks of life are welcome. Personal lived experiences may include religion or politics, but no ideology—religious, political, partisan, or otherwise—should be promoted or belittled. These topics are outside the scope of our space, as we prioritize shared humanity over division. - We show up as both teachers and students.
We look forward to hearing a diversity of reflections, reactions, and perspectives. Take in what resonates and release what doesn’t. We value spaciousness—pausing, listening, and allowing insight to unfold organically. - Speak from personal experience.
Use “I” language. Share what’s true for you without trying to fix, assume, advise, or preach—unless invited. Frame your perspective as your lived experience rather than presenting opinions as universal truth. This leaves room for others to share theirs. - Avoid assumptions.
Don’t assume others share your background, values, or beliefs. Our diversity is a strength. Speaking as if we all think alike can make others feel excluded or unsafe. - Honor the complexity of healing.
Healing is nuanced, layered, and deeply personal. With a trauma-informed lens, we recognize it unfolds across emotional, relational, and biological dimensions. We avoid one-size-fits-all paths or formulaic solutions. Go at your own pace, guided by your inner compass. - You are welcome to bring your real experiences—with purpose.
If you’ve ever felt unseen, misunderstood, or worn down by life and the state of the world, you are not alone. Bring what’s real in the spirit of healing and learning. We name pain not to vent or complain without direction, but to seek clarity, understanding, and transformation. - Practice equity of voice.
Be mindful of how much space you’re holding. If you speak often, consider stepping back. If you’re usually quiet, know your voice matters—we’d love to hear from you. - Welcome disagreements as part of growth.
When conflict or misunderstanding arises, we pause and acknowledge what others are sharing. We respond with curiosity rather than certainty, take responsibility for our own reactions and feelings, and practice repair. - Let our space ripple outward.
What’s learned here, we hope transforms not only ourselves, but our families, communities, and beyond. Our space is sacred—not because it is perfect, but because we hold it together.
Thank you for visiting!

LOVE ON EARTH: Loving Yourself (Recognizing Your Sacred Worth)
Golden Valley Library, 830 Winnetka Ave. N., Golden Valley, MN, USLOVE ON EARTH: Loving Yourself (Recognizing Your Sacred Worth)
What makes a human being worthy?
Across cultures, philosophies, spiritual traditions, and throughout history, people have wrestled with questions about the value of human life, human dignity, and what makes us worthy of love and care.
In this gathering, we'll explore what various traditions have taught about human worth and examine how those beliefs influence the way we relate to ourselves.Together, we'll explore:
• What makes a human life precious
• How different cultures, philosophies, and spiritual traditions understand human worth
• The difference between earned worth and inherent worth
• How our beliefs about worth shape the relationship we have with ourselves
• What becomes possible when we begin recognizing our own inherent valueThrough reflection, guided imagination, small group dialogue, and shared exploration, we'll examine one of life's most fundamental mysteries: the sacredness and worth of human life.
Shared Intention
To explore the sacredness of being human, deepen our appreciation for the inherent worth present in every life, and cultivate a more loving relationship with ourselves and others.Skills We Will Be Practicing
• Self-Worth Reflection: Examining our beliefs about worth, value, and what makes a human life precious.
• Perspective Exploration: Exploring how different cultures, philosophies, and spiritual traditions understand human worth and discerning what resonates most deeply with us.
• Self-Worth Recognition: Engaging in guided reflection and imagination to explore our own inherent worth and what it might mean to fully recognize it.
• Self-Appreciation: Cultivating greater appreciation for our lives, humanity, and the unique qualities we bring into the world.About the Love on Earth Series

In our community, we don't just talk about love — we practice it in ways that are grounded, relational, and real.Together, we explore the skills, perspectives, and practices that help us cultivate greater connection, compassion, understanding, and care for ourselves and others.
One conversation at a time, we are learning what it means to bring more love into the world.

LOVE ON EARTH: Build a Life on Love & What You Love
Augsburg Park Library, 7100 Nicollet Ave., Richfield, MN, USEvery life is built around something. Most of us never consciously choose what that something will be. Our calendars, routines, commitments, obligations, and habits gradually become organized around what feels urgent rather than what matters most.
This session is an invitation to step back and ask different questions.
What if love became the organizing principle of your life?
What if you intentionally designed your life around what you genuinely love?Together, we'll explore questions such as:
- What do I truly love?
- What gives me life?
- What consistently drains my energy?
- What am I longing to experience more of?
- What would it look like to build my life on love rather than obligation, fear, or expectation?
- How might my life change if I intentionally gave more space to what I genuinely love?
This session is an invitation to imagine a different way of living—one where love is not simply something we feel, but the foundation from which we create our lives. As we become more aware of what we genuinely love, we gain the opportunity to intentionally design lives that reflect what matters most.
Shared Intention
To explore what it means to build a life on love by intentionally nurturing the people, relationships, experiences, and activities that bring us greater joy, meaning, connection, and aliveness. What Our Community is Cultivating
Love as Foundation
Learning to make love—not fear, obligation, or expectation—the organizing principle from which we build our lives.Love as Awareness and Discernment
Recognizing what genuinely brings us alive, what we deeply love, and what consistently pulls us away from those experiences.Intentional Life Design
Choosing to shape our lives with greater purpose so that our time, energy, and attention increasingly reflect what matters most.Courage
Giving ourselves permission to build a life that reflects what we genuinely love, even when it means questioning old habits, expectations, or assumptions.About the Love on Earth Series

PURE PRESENCE: Eye Gazing for Connection & Self-Observation
St. Louis Park Library-Meeting Room, 3240 Library Lane Ave, St. Louis Park, MN, USPURE PRESENCE: Eye Gazing for Connection & Self-Observation
Location: St. Louis Park Meeting RoomPure Presence is a sacred gathering where we slow down and eye gaze in short increments. We rediscover what it means to truly see and be seen.
This eye gazing practice begins with simple presence. As we stay with it, something shifts. We begin to see one another more clearly, without judgment or expectation. From this place, we practice not only witnessing another person, but also observing ourselves while remaining in relationship. As we stay present, we begin to notice our thoughts, emotions, sensations, judgments, and reactions, discovering what eye contact reveals about ourselves as much as about the other person.
Click here if you'd like to learn more about Tribe of One Love's Pure Presence sessions.
We gather to:
- Practice the art of sacred witnessing
- Awaken awareness through intentional presence
- Experience connection beyond words
- Heal disconnection through attention and stillness
- Practice both witnessing and receiving through conscious presence
We do this not as a novelty, but as a rhythm for our community to anchor presence, connection, and shared humanity.
Sacred Witnessing
The practice of remaining fully present with another person while setting aside judgment, interpretation, and agenda. Witnessing reminds us that attention itself can be an act of care.Receiving
Many people have difficulty allowing themselves to be seen, acknowledged, appreciated, or impacted by another person's presence. Receiving is the practice of opening ourselves to these experiences with curiosity, noticing any openness, resistance, vulnerability, self-consciousness, or discomfort that arises.Stillness as Connection
Letting go of words and entering a quieter space where connection is felt rather than spoken. In stillness, we often discover that presence itself communicates more than words alone.Self-Observation
The practice of noticing our thoughts, emotions, sensations, assumptions, and reactions while remaining present with another person. Rather than trying to change our experience, we become curious about it. Self-observation transforms ordinary interaction into an opportunity for awareness, choice, and growth.***
