LIGHTNING TALKS
This month instead of one speaker, we'll have many!
You are cordially invited to join us at Adzerk for an evening of lightning talks/demos. Pizza and mingling starts at 6:45pm. Talks and demos begin at 7pm.
Anyone who wishes to give a maximum 5-minute, Clojure-related demo or talk is encouraged to sign up to do so before 7pm. A sign-up sheet will be available at the event. Slots are first-come, first-served. There will be as many speaking slots as we can fit into one hour. Whatever time isn't used be lightning talks will be filled with a group listening of SICP lectures. Just kidding. Maybe.
Speakers are welcome to plug their laptops into the projector to project either slides or their REPL, but material is not a requirement. All that matters is that you talk, for 5 minutes at most, about something related to Clojure!
Tentative Lineup (add your talk to the comments!)
• Protocols in ClojureScript, Adam Frey
• Minesweeper in ClojureScript, Chris K. Jester-Young
• Onyx task bundles, Bridget Hillyer
• Web Audio API with ClojureScript, Dave Yarwood
• Using Quil and Arduino to make interactive digital art, Brian Carrigan
