Ben Berry will be presenting about getting started with Bluetooth Low Energy on Android. We'll start with a brief overview and history of Bluetooth and BLE, then discuss the concepts of BLE services and characterstics, then dive into code examples showing how to scan, connect, and exchange data with BLE devices.

Location

We will be in the Training Room at American Underground @Main.

You can park in the Corcoran Street Garage and walk next door to AU. Take the elevator to the second floor, then go through the double doors to your right. (They should be propped open for the event.)

Follow the hallway around the corner and the Training Room will be on your right.
