Join us each month on the second Thursday for conversation with other Linux users as well as information relevant to Open Source.
Qubes OS modestly bills itself as a "reasonably secure operating system". Join Will Richey for a discussion from the perspective of a long time Linux user and amateur systems programmer who has been experimenting with Qubes for a few months.
Will Richey has been attending TriLUG for a couple of years and is in his second year serving on the Steering Committee. He has been a Linux user since getting a set of RedHat 4 discs in 1997 (at work!). Currently, those years of Linux use and administration are paying off, literally, as Will has been using Yocto Project to create custom Linux distributions for a medical devices.
As usual, pizza and beverages will be provided and the meeting will be held at the North Carolina College of Textiles, room 2207, 1020 Main Campus Drive, Raleigh NC, 27606 at 7:00 PM.
There is an underground parking deck next to the College at the Engineering Parking Deck. Parking is free after 5 PM.
