What we're about

TRINUG holds weekly meetups. Our Main Meeting is the 2nd Wednesday of every month.

It's a get together for developers of all levels. We usually have an awesome speaker discussing one of the latest technologies, best practices, and anything else of interest to our craft.
Food is provided by our meeting sponsor.

On other Wednesdays we hold special interest groups (SIGs) on topics of interest to .NET developers at various locations around the Triangle. The presenters are usually TRINUG members. Discussions are more in depth and usually take place a smaller venue. Very interactive!

1st Wed - Special Interest Group (SIG)
2nd Wed - Main Meeting
3rd Wed - Special Interest Group (SIG)
4th Wed - Special Interest Group (SIG)

Global Azure Bootcamp

Insight Digital Innovation

We have been running a RTP location of Global Azure Bootcamp ever since it started. This year we decided to get back to the roots of a bootcamp by doing a day-long lab. That's right - all day, boots on the ground, hands on the keyboard. Less Blah Blah Blah. More code. The primary lab will be led by Keith Wood from Insight Digital Innovation and will focus on chatbots. You'll learn how to build chatbots and how to use technologies including Cognitive Services / LUIS (Language Understanding Intelligent Service, Azure Search, Azure Bot Service, Microsoft Bot Framework, QnA Maker, and Bing Search API. You'll get an overview of bots and AI in the morning, followed by lab-style exercises where you'll build your own intelligent bots and supporting services with the help of experts. There are plans for a Machine Learning lab also - stay tuned for that. ******Important****** Since this is hands-on day, you will need to have a laptop with Visual Studio Code installed and a subscription to Azure. Although we can't help you with the laptop, we can help you with an Azure subscription and installing visual studio code if you don't have one. Thanks to Syncfusion for sponsoring lunch.
