Trip from London to Morocco!!

🌍 Morocco Adventure: Marrakech & the Sahara Desert — 3rd–7th May 2026
Hey everyone! I’m planning a trip to Morocco and would love some fellow adventurers to join me. This is going to be a proper mix of culture, history, and one of the most jaw-dropping natural landscapes on earth. Here’s the plan:
Days 1–2 | Marrakech
We kick things off with two days exploring the magic of Marrakech — wandering the labyrinthine souks of the Medina, soaking up the chaos and colour of Jemaa el-Fna square, and discovering the city’s stunning mosques, riads, and hammams. Plenty of tagine and mint tea along the way.
Days 3–5 | Sahara Desert Tour to Merzouga
On Day 3 we join a guided 3-day luxury desert tour from Marrakech. We’ll travel through the spectacular High Atlas Mountains, marvel at the UNESCO World Heritage site of Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, and dive into the Dades Valley before finishing up with an awe-inspiring journey to the Erg Chebbi Sand Dunes.
Day 2 of the tour takes us to the Todra Gorges and through Berber villages before arriving in Merzouga for a camel ride across the dunes and an unforgettable sunset. We then spend the night camping beside the dunes — traditional dinner, music, and a night under the stars in a Berber desert camp.
Day 3 of the tour we wake up early to witness a breathtaking sunrise over the Sahara dunes, enjoy breakfast at the desert camp, and then camel ride back before the long scenic drive home through the Rose Valley — arriving back in Marrakech in the evening.
There’s also an option to swap the camel ride back for a quad bike through the dunes if you fancy something more adrenaline-fuelled! 🐪🏍️
