Join us on an exciting hiking route from the Navacerrada pass to Cercedilla via the stunning Schmid Trail! During this approximately 18 km hike, we will explore some of the most breathtaking landscapes of the Sierra de Guadarrama, passing through the Fuenfría pass, the Mirador de los Poetas, the Camino de Santiago de Madrid and the Calzada Romana.

Adventure, love, and friendship await you on our hikes through the Sierra de Guadarrama! We invite you to join this fascinating hiking route, perfect for meeting new people and marveling at the beauty of nature.

We will start our hike at the Navacerrada pass and head towards the Fuenfría pass, where we can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and mountains. We will walk along the Schmid Trail, an old mountain road that runs through the sierra and boasts some of the most breathtaking views in the area.

We will continue along the trail and arrive at the Mirador de los Poetas, a lookout point located at over 1,800 meters above sea level that offers breathtaking views of the valley. After enjoying the views, we will continue on our way and pass along the Camino de Santiago de Madrid and the Calzada Romana, two of the most important historical routes in the area.

Along the way, we will have the opportunity to explore the rich biodiversity of the area, which includes pine and oak forests, mountain streams and alpine meadows. The hike is of moderate level, so a good physical condition is required, and will take place in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, ideal to enjoy in the company of other outdoor enthusiasts.

At the end of the hike, we will arrive in the charming town of Cercedilla, where we can relax and enjoy a well-deserved rest after our exciting mountain adventure.

DURATION: 6 hours (including breaks, lunch, photos, etc.)

It is necessary to bring your lunch and 1.5L of water (minimum). Mountain shoes, comfortable clothes and sunscreen.

▬▬ How we will get there ▬▬

By train: 🚏we will meet at Moncloa Bus 🚎 station at 08:45 h. to depart at 09:00 h. We will take the bus to Puerto de Navacerrada. Línea 691 (Intercambiador De Moncloa (Nivel -1, Isla 2).

The cost of the ticket is approximately 5,10€ and it is paid at the station. The bus does not accept card payment.

You must bring change of €5 or €10. If you have a young subscription.

The bus trip is free, transport voucher type B2 accepted.
