Triple Step Swing would like to thank Long Island Swing Syndicate for the efforts and dedication to promoting lindy hop and swing dancing in Long Island, NY. Below is their final note to everyone in this community who helped make LISS the success it was!

From LISS
After 10 years and lots of great classes, workshops, and community events, we decided to close the Long Island Swing Syndicate (LISS) at the end of 2025. It's bittersweet, but we’re proud LISS made it a decade and was able to introduce so many people on Long Island to swing dancing classes, history, community, and culture. We've been very grateful for this Meetup group during that time, and the opportunity it gave us to meet all of you in lessons and social dances.

Please know that this group will continue even though it will no longer be run by LISS. Carol Fraser and her new dance organization “Triple Step Swing” will be taking over management of the group. Dancing and lessons will continue for sure – stay tuned for more updates and the change in branding!
